An unstable or uneven floor can amplify vibration.
Make sure the appliance is sitting on a solid surface suitable for its weight and movement.
5. Consider Whether the Washer Was Recently Installed
New washing machines may use shipping bolts or other transport hardware to secure internal components.
These normally need to be removed during installation according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
6. Listen for Mechanical Noises
Loud knocking, grinding, scraping, or metallic sounds may indicate something beyond a simple unbalanced load.
Stop using the machine if the movement becomes violent enough to risk damaging the appliance or surrounding property.
